Big Crowds Juice Cranberry Festiva

HARWICH – The 49th annual Harwich Cranberry Arts and Music Festival was a major success last weekend, drawing a massive crowd behind the community center.

The weather cooperated, providing a couple of perfect days to wander around the close to 160 arts and crafts vendors and nonprofit organizations and take in the music at the CranFest Music Festival.

The vendors were extremely pleased with the volume of patrons, especially on Saturday, which drew one of the largest crowds to attend the event in recent years. Cranberry Harwich Festival President Fred Munday said vendors had very positive things to say about the success of the festival.

The festival committee is already shaping ideas on additional attractions for the 50th anniversary event that will be held next September.
