Fundraiser Benefits Kit And Jerry Boucher Foundation For Good

April 01, 2026

Town Cove Tap House on Main Street in Orleans was the scene of a fundraiser last Saturday to benefit the Kit and Jerry Foundation for Good, the charity set up for the local couple who lost their lives after falling through the ice this winter in Eastham.
The foundation was created in Kit and Jerry Boucher’s memory by their daughters to raise money for “doing small things with great love” in the local community. The concert was the brainchild of members of two local teen bands: Catfish and Watch Your Step, who asked for $10 donations at the door. Local restaurant Viv’s Kitchen was also on hand at the show serving up a delicious slate of treats, donating 100 percent of the proceeds to the foundation.
“The kids raised close to $2,000 and that got us up over $75,000,” said Katy Boucher, Kit and Jerry’s daughter. “We have so much good to do in my parents’ memories. And my God, that’s awesome. But probably what meant even more to me that surpassing a fundraising goal is that for a night, I felt joy. And I know my parents would share in that joy, too.”
