Nicholas Dadoly

Nicholas Dadoly, 91, of Harwich, MA, died June 3, 2026. Born in Dracut, MA, on May 15, 1935, he was the son of the late Konstantine and Efthymia (Phousias) Dadolys.
A graduate chemical engineer (Lowell Technological Institute / UMass Lowell), he spent twenty years in management with Allied Chemical Corporation and in 1977 founded Aegis Incorporated. A lifelong student and teacher of the Greek language and the Hellenic alphabet, he authored numerous articles on Greece and the book A Writing on the Hellenic Alphabet for English-Speaking Peoples. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he was a devoted family man, a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, and a longtime Cape Cod resident who treasured his book club, his many friends, and quiet days on the Cape.
He was predeceased by his wife of over six decades, Constance M. (O’Neil) Dadoly, and is survived by his sons Stephen (JoHannah) of Pine Plains, NY, and Richard (Kimberly) of Brewster, MA, and his grandsons Nicholas and Matthew Dadoly, his brother James Dadoly, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Central Cemetery, Main Street & Westford Street, Dunstable, MA 01827.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
