“We basically do all the services when it comes to landscaping,” said Arran Paskauskas, owner of Arran P Landscaping located in Truro.
Paskauskas also has a second location in Eastham and serves communities throughout the Cape. Depending on the project, the company also covers areas including Chatham, Harwich and Yarmouth. The business has grown to a seasonal crew of about 13 employees, and Paskauskas says communication and reliability are two things that set his company apart from the competition
“We’re going to provide our best service possible every time,” he said. “I’m generally very good with communication and getting back to people very quickly.
Customers often find the company through Google, where Aaren P Landscaping has earned a number of five-star reviews, as well as through word of mouth. Their process is straightforward: Potential clients can reach out through the company’s website, by phone, text or email. Paskauskas then meets with the customer to discuss the project, review the client's vision and finally provide an estimate or quote and schedule the work.
Paskauskas began working at Bayberry Gardens in Truro in 2012 and eventually took over management of the company’s landscaping operations. When the owner retired, Paskauskas purchased the landscaping business and made it his own. Four years ago, he rebranded the company as Aaren P Landscaping, continuing to grow the business throughout the Outer and Lower Cape.
Aaren P Landscaping offers a wide range of landscaping services for both residential and commercial customers. Paskauskas and crew handles everything from routine maintenance, mowing and seasonal cleanups to hardscaping, machine work, installations and tree work.
Aaren P Landscaping also offers landscape and garden design, working with customers to develop full garden plans or determine what improvements might work best for a particular property. Whether a client has a specific vision or simply needs help figuring out what a space needs, Paskauskas and his crew can help bring the idea to life.
Among the company’s commercial clients are the many properties of Seaman’s Bank as well as several smaller insurance companies and other commercial properties.
But landscaping isn’t Paskauskas’ only passion. He is also a woodworker and artist, an interest that developed after initially moving to Cape Cod. It was through working in landscaping that he realized he had a great amount of access to trees, wood and other natural materials. He initially created functional pieces, including wooden bowls, salad bowls and spoons, before his work evolved into more sculptural pieces. Much of the wood he uses comes from the same landscapes he works in every day, including locally available oak, cherry and maple from trees that have been cut down or stumps that have been removed through landscaping projects.
That artistic perspective is another part of what makes Paskauskas’ approach to landscaping unique. For him, working outdoors isn’t simply about maintaining a property; it is also about seeing the possibilities within a space and finding creative ways to transform it.
With a growing landscaping company, a dedicated seasonal crew and an artistic eye for working with natural materials, Paskauskas has found a way to combine his professional and creative passions right here on Cape Cod.
