ORLEANS – Music lovers young and old descended upon the upper parking lot of Nauset Beach last Saturday for this year’s Outermost Roots and Blues Festival.
The festival, hosted by Hog Island Beer Co. and the nonprofit Friends of Nauset Beach, has become a Columbus Day weekend tradition in Orleans. On Oct. 10, Garrett Dutton led his long-running blues-hop outfit G. Love and Special Sauce on the mainstage. Other performers on this year’s bill included the legendary jazz-inspired hip hop trio Digable Planets, Ron Artis II, the Dirty Rotten Vipers and the Grateful Dub.
