Jack Johnson headlined Sunday’s slate at this year’s Outermost Roots and Blues Festival, sponsored by Hog Island Beer Co. and the Friends of Nauset Beach.

G. Love, an Orleans resident, pulled double duty last weekend, performing Saturday with his long-running band Special Sauce and Saturday with Frankenreiter, Johnson and others.

This year’s festival included a second stage for local bands. The Dirty Water Dance Band played an early afternoon set on Sunday.
Prior to last weekend’s festival, vendors, bands and food trucks took over the Village Green on Friday afternoon, where the Orleans Chamber of Commerce hosted Outermost Friday in the Park.
Dancing Spoons were among several food vendors on hand for last week’s pre-Outermost event in downtown Orleans.

ORLEANS – Last weekend's Outermost Roots and Blues Festival had a little something for everyone. Concert goers from all over made the trek out to Nauset Beach on Saturday and Sunday, where acts including G. Love and Special Sauce, Donovan Frankenreiter and special guest headliner Jack Johnson entertained from the main stage. A second stage featured local acts including Nikki and the Barn Boys and the Dirty Water Dance Band.
On Friday, the Orleans Chamber of Commerce got the festival weekend off on the right foot with Outermost Friday in the Park on the Village Green.
