Henry L. Shepherd, IV

Henry L. Shepherd, IV, “Bear,” passed away peacefully from Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
He was the beloved son of Nikki Regen Carter and Richard J. Carter, Jr., deceased; brother to Scott H. Shepherd, Alexandra B. Carter, Richard J. Carter, Ill, and John A. Carter; and uncle to Carolyn Carter Lembrich, Josephine June Carter, John A. Carter, Jr (Jack) and Thomas E. Carter (Teddy).
   He was born in Hartford CT in 1964. He graduated from New Hampton Prep School and New England College, and received his Master’s Degree in Education from Framingham State College.
He was in The US Coast Guard at Brant Point, Nantucket, MA. and he was also a landscaper & a painter.
He loved his family and friends and loved all sports.
