Chronicle To Mail Late This Week
Because of a software problem with the U.S. Postal Service, this week's edition of The Cape Cod Chronicle could not be mailed on time Wednesday. This means that subscribers who receive the paper in the mail will experience late delivery. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Chronicle will be on newsstands as usual, and a very limited number of copies will be available at our Chatham offices for subscribers to pick up for free. Subscribers are also reminded that they have access to our electronic edition, a complete facsimile of the newspaper, readable on their computers, phones or tablet devices.
We anticipate that the USPS will provide our mailer with the necessary software update in time for the paper to be mailed on Thursday. While this delay is beyond our control, we regret the frustration it causes our readers.
